    Sorry, we're going to be closed this Friday afternoon through Tuesday. (On Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday, you can visit Jenny's booth at the Make It show to purchase a copy of UPPERCASE magazine.) Early next week Janine will be press-checking Camilla's book and then we're open again on Wednesday, November 11.

    Stylish Sturges

    Leave it to the Criterion Collection to fashion a dvd cover this stylish. I kicked off my Summer Film Studies course this week with a screening of Preston Sturges, Sullivan's Travels (1941).

    To watch a clip of this classic film about the joy of movies (especially those with a little sex in them...), click here.

    Sturges's Unfaithfully Yours (1948) also makes the Criterion cut.
